01Program description
OD Miles is a mileage tracking application offered by Pink Fox Ventures ("OD Miles," "we," "us"), located at 3905 Cole Valley Ln, Round Rock, TX 78681, United States.
Our text message program sends one-time verification codes (OTP) for account sign-in only. A message is sent only in direct response to a sign-in or phone-verification attempt that you start yourself, and it contains a six-digit code and nothing else.
We do not use text messages for marketing, promotions, product announcements, drive alerts, or reminders. Notifications about your drives are delivered as in-app push notifications, not SMS.
02How you opt in
Opt-in happens inside the OD Miles iOS app. There are two places you can start it, and both work the same way:
- Sign-in screen — you enter your mobile number and tap "Send code".
- Settings → Account & Sync — an existing account adds a phone number, then taps "Send code".
Entering your mobile number and tapping "Send code" is the affirmative act of consent: you are requesting that specific message at that moment. The disclosure below appears on screen, directly beneath the button, before you tap it:
Tapping Send code opts you in to sign-in codes only — one text per attempt. Msg & data rates may apply.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You can use OD Miles without ever giving us a phone number — Sign in with Apple and email magic-link sign-in are both offered on the same screen.

04Message frequency
Message frequency varies and is entirely determined by you. You receive one message per sign-in or phone-verification attempt that you initiate. Most users sign in once per device and receive a single message; there is no recurring or scheduled messaging of any kind.
05Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. OD Miles does not charge you for text messages.
06HELP and STOP
Both keywords are supported. Reply HELP to any message from us for help, or contact support@odmiles.com. HELP and STOP are handled by our messaging provider at the platform level, ahead of our application, so they are answered regardless of the state of your account.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which we will send you no further texts. Opting out does not delete or affect your OD Miles account or your recorded drives — but because verification codes are how phone sign-in works, you will need to sign in with Apple or with an email magic link instead. You can opt back in at any time by requesting a new code.
We document both keywords here rather than printing them on the sign-in screen itself. This program sends no recurring or promotional messages — there is no subscription to leave — so on-screen opt-out copy would describe the service inaccurately to the very people using it. A text is sent only when someone asks for a sign-in code, and simply not requesting one is the ordinary way to receive nothing.
07Carriers and delivery
We send to US mobile numbers only. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is best-effort and depends on your carrier and network conditions.
08Privacy
Your phone number is used to sign you in and to identify your account. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text messages are delivered through our messaging provider solely to carry out delivery.
